Dining Room Table

Dining Room Table

Our Dining Room Table legs are handcrafted out of 3-inch thick blocks of fossilized coral, joined together at right angles. They are then placed in a butterfly pattern under a glass top. The legs are sandblasted, to reveal the fossilized skeletons of the animals that built the ancient Florida Keys reef. They are then pressure-cleaned and set out to dry. When dried, they are sealed with a special coating, to help preserve the table for a lifetime.

At 30 inches tall, our standard 36×60″ table, with 15×15” right-angle legs, is the perfect size for most smaller dining rooms. While prices vary with the final size, we generally price our coral by the square inch, which for 3-inch thick Dining Room Table, would be $.60 per square inch. A typical 36 x 60 sheet of 3/4″ thick, beveled glass, at an approximate cost of $300, is included in the price.

Since all tables are unique and individually handcrafted, prices will vary with final size, type of coral and complexity.
